LEG 1: Homo Novus Riga, Latvia: 3-9 September
Riga’s biannual festival of international theatre and performance, this year housed in Riga’s old music school, and across the city’s theatres, factories and scrap yards. Have a look at the full Homo Novus programme including Guest performances from Lone Twin Theatre, Forced Entertainment, Camille Boitel, Eva Meyer-Keller & Sybille Müller, as well as INTERSECTION – installations from the Prague Quadrennial, PROVE III – a programme of young Latvian directors, and DISTANCE. LEG 3: Wunderbar. Newcastle, UK: 31 October – 6 November
For our last leg, join us at Wunderbar Festival in Newcastle, the festival of our guest curator, Ilana Mitchell.
Wunderbar produces dynamic, creative projects that place the audience at the heart of the experience. From their home in Newcastle, they present work that takes in the city and the surrounding region with a bold, international outlook. Expect the playful, brave and mischievous and across every scale, from the minutest of interactions to grand, city centre spectaculars.
